In old vegetarianism (veganism) all products which directly or indirectly have animal origin are excluded from food. The new ration, based on traditional vegetarianism, is complete and metabolically beneficial, and leads to significant improvements in skin condition in psoriasis. It also includes honey and mushrooms, and introduces additional restrictions and preferences. Below are the basic rules of the new ration (diet).
Allowed
- Cereals, legumes, nuts, vegetables, fruits, berries, greens, mushrooms, honey.
- Any products prepared only from the ingredients listed in point 1 (cereals, bread, vegetable oils, frozen vegetables or fruits, juices, dried fruits, greens, mushrooms, etc.)
Prohibited
- Meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, cocoa
- Any products containing any of the ingredients listed in point 1 (pasta, baked goods, cakes, ice cream, mayonnaise, chocolate, candy, etc.)
- Alcoholic beverages, including beer.
- Chemical drinks such as Fanta and Coca-Cola.
- Hot spices (pepper-based, adjika, etc.)
- Pickles, marinades, etc. Canned foods not in their own juice.
Preferred
- Natural foods are better than boiled or fried foods.
- Natural foods are better than dried foods.
- Natural foods are better than juice.
- Natural foods are better than canned foods.
- Natural foods are better than fresh-frozen foods.
- Avoid adding any seasonings, such as salt, sugar, etc. (it’s best to have them on the table and add them as needed.)
- Filtered water.
- Juice or water is better than tea or coffee.
- Avoid chewing gum.
Recommended
Due to the possible reduction in the amount of vitamins and microelements consumed with food, take one tablet of the Vitrum complex or a similar product daily (after meals). This is especially recommended during the winter and spring.
